Weir SPM R&D Facility

Weir SPM manufactures reciprocating plunger pumps used in hydraulic fracturing for the oil and gas industry, along with other essential ancillary upstream and downstream equipment. The Research and Development (R&D) facility tests prototype frac pumps at operating conditions ranging from real-life to extreme such as high fluid pressures, high temperatures, and with various additives and contaminants. Huitt-Zollars provided architectural and engineering services to create the Weir SPM R&D Facility.

Maneuver Systems Sustainment Center

The Maneuver Systems Sustainment Center (MSSC) is a $70 million new facility that achieves consolidation of multiple functions into a single 377,000-SF, seven-building facility on approximately 15 acres of site development. In addition to the design of the building and site, Huitt-Zollars was responsible for programming, layout, and design of approximately $20 million of highly specialized process-related equipment.
